[How To] 利用Mozilla Firefox的關鍵字搜尋取代搜尋列

很多人在使用Mozilla Firefox的時候，習慣使用右上角的搜尋列來搜尋需要的資訊，但其實Mozilla本身具有另一種搜尋方式，這種方式被稱為「自訂關鍵字搜尋」

如何使用自訂關鍵字搜尋

以Yahoo搜尋為例，因我設定書籤關鍵字為："Yoo"。如果我想要以Bipolar Disorder為關鍵字搜尋的時候，就得在網址列輸入："Yoo Bipolar disorder"

結果就會如下圖：

由於Mozilla Firefox預設是將網址列的結果開起在原分頁，因此如果想將每次搜尋的結果開啟在新的分頁，就必須要用擴充套件來進行修改

  1. 到addons.mozilla.org安裝Tab Mix Plus

  2. 打開"Firefox選項"

  3. 進入"Firefox選項"之後找到"分頁"頁籤，並找到其中的"Tab Mix Plus選項..."

  4. 進入"Tab Mix Plus選項"，然後至"分頁"→"開啟分頁"→"下列項目將使用新分頁開啟"，接著將"網址列"這個項目勾選

  5. 設定完成以後，使用自訂關鍵字搜尋的搜尋結果就會開啟在新的分頁

如何製作關鍵字搜尋書籤

以Bing.com為例

  1. 在Bing.com搜尋關鍵字Firefox，則此時網址呈現如下：

    http://www.bing.com/search?q=Firefox&go=&qs=bs&form=QBRE

    如果改用其他關鍵字搜尋，譬如Quetiapine，則網址會變成：

    http://www.bing.com/search?q=Quetiapine&go=&qs=bs&form=QBRE

    因此可知Bing.com網址的結構是q="關鍵字"。因此要製作成自訂關鍵字搜尋書籤所要格式的網址，只要將關鍵字代換成"%s"即可，如下：

    http://www.bing.com/search?q=%s&go=&qs=bs&form=QBRE

  2. 接著網址列輸入chrome://browser/content/places/places.xul。
    進到書籤收藏庫以後，建立一個資料夾來管理"自訂關鍵字搜尋書籤"。在這裡我建立的書籤資料夾名稱為"Bookmark Search"。

  3. 進到Bookmark Search資料夾之後，叫出右鍵選單→"新增書籤"，其中要填寫的有三個欄位："名稱"，"網址"，與"關鍵字"。

    名稱：這個可以隨意命名

    網址：在bing.com這個範例來講，我們要輸入的是剛才以%s代換關鍵字之後的網址：

    http://www.bing.com/search?q=%s&go=&qs=bs&form=QBRE

    關鍵字：我們所定義的關鍵字是用來呼叫"自訂關鍵字搜尋書籤"來進行搜尋，關鍵字的選定以簡單且不重複為原則。在Bing.com的這個範例中我們以bin作為關鍵字。

  4. 完成以後在網址列輸入："Bin Don't Be evil"進行測試

    成功的在Bing.com搜尋Don't Be evil。在製作每一個自訂關鍵字搜尋書籤的時候，都記得要經過測試，才能確保自訂關鍵字搜尋能夠正確運作。

限制

如果搜尋的運作方式並不會將關鍵字顯示在網址的類型，就無法製作自訂關鍵字搜尋書籤，譬如:Cgi,Apsx等。這種方式就需要透過Google搭配Site與Inurl等指令來達成。
